The village landscape is the material carrier of social and historical development, the living inheritance of traditional culture, and has obvious regional attributes. The intervention of art can not only improve the recognizability of the village landscape but also enrich the art form and sustainable inheritance and development of the village landscape. This project takes “Bondage - Break - Transform - Rebirth” as the narrative context, based on solving the practical problems existing in village development, and puts forward the intervention strategy of art intervention in the village landscape. Relying on the three artistic dimensions of space, time, and image, the village landscape type is re-identified to increase the recognizability of the village landscape. On this basis, the four construction steps of “ ‘Ding,’ ‘Xuan,’ ‘Zhi’ ‘Zao’ ” are used to reconstruct the artistic appearance of the village landscape, stimulate the vitality of artistic village landscape regeneration, and provide new creative perspectives and new practices for the comprehensive implementation of the rural revitalization strategy in China.
