Abstract:The concept of a park city raises attention to the living environment and accelerates the construction of pocket parks. As a new type of urban public space that serves high-density urban areas, exploring its development direction can lead to the progress of theoretical research and construction. Based on the CNKI database and Web of Science core database, a comparative analysis between domestic and foreign research of publications, research hotspots, and trends of pocket parks from 2000 to the first half of 2022 is conducted by CiteSpace. The results show that domestic and foreign research has a common concern of ecological benefits and gradually paying attention to social interaction function. However, the research scale and focuses are different, Domestic research focuses on macro-layout regulation and planning strategies, while foreign research focuses more on humanistic topics such as psychological repair and environmental justice. Under the context of park city, the research of pocket parks and their interactive landscape should be further developed from the perspectives of demand research, application of intelligent multimedia technology and parametric design, and exploration of management mechanisms to improve the planning and design of pocket parks and continue to promote people’s living standards.
