Abstract:Virtual Reality Technology has been widely used in the field of education due to its characteristics. To address the mental blind spots in the teaching of the “Western Landscape History” course, such as time and space scales, the course reform introduces virtual reality technology to construct three-dimensional model reconstruction + VR + AR stereo information resources and carry out related digital, informational and future new technology integration practices. The results of teaching practice have shown that virtual reality technology brings students immersive, interactive, and temporal learning experiences and effectively stimulates their classroom learning motivation. It improves students’ understanding of western landscape history in space and time scales, strengthening teachers’ teaching effectivenessand overall improving talent training quality.
