Abstract:Under the background of increasing uncertainty and ecological civilization, the education of landscape architecture design, which mostly stays in the traditional results-oriented and two-dimensional plane structure, urgently needs reflection and reform. This study describes the transformation and problems of landscape architecture design and its education and teaching and proposes to build a full-process and open design curriculum and education system. The research focuses on the topic selection, participants and organization form and introduces the whole process and the path of open-course teaching. In terms of topic selection, the “proximity” research site, especially the campus, has great advantages and significance in teaching and research; In terms of participants, the “multiple flows” of participants and participants will be conducive to the stimulation of design thinking and the cultivation of multiple abilities; In terms of organizational form, the adjustment of the whole course syllabus, the whole process of teaching records and the topological links inside and outside the classroom will help to solve the redundancy problem of design education. Finally, this study proposes that the goal of talent training in landscape architecture design education needs to develop from “technology” to “ability”, and the education practitioners need to take reform continuously and learn new knowledge as their daily routine.
