Abstract:In the age of globalization, resources and elements of education and teaching are constantly moving, and international exchanges and cooperation are becoming increasingly close. Against this macro background, landscape architecture in China is trying to integrate into global education in various ways, aiming to establish a mature and perfect teaching system and continuously improve the level of international education. Taking the Technical University of Munich in Germany and the Politecnico di Milano in Italy as examples, this study explores the modular and typological curriculums of landscape architecture in two internationally renowned institutions. On this basis, the teaching model of the international joint workshop supported by the digital resource platform in the in the design-based curriculum at the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture has been explained accordingly. Finally, through comparative analysis, the study reflects on the international education and teaching system of landscape architecture in China from three aspects: multidisciplinary and multidimensional, innovation and integration, and independence and openness, with the aim of broadening the cultivation path of composite and innovative talents and promoting the cultivation mechanism of international talents.
