Abstract:The introduction of acoustic landscape theory in China breaks the imbalance of excessive attention to visual design and light sound aesthetics in landscape design. As a result, it gradually becomes an integral part of modern landscape architecture design. To further study the current situation of acoustic landscape research in China, the paper uses CiteSpace software to analyze relevant literature in auditory landscape research in China from 1999 to 2020, and draw knowledge maps, and summarize the evolution path, research hot-spots, and research frontiers. The results show that the research on the acoustic landscape in China started late. Still, the research results are abundant, and there are academic exchanges among institutions, but the density is low. The research objects focus on the acoustic environment of urban parks and the relationship between the environment, humans, and sound. The research method focuses on the combination of qualitative and quantitative research. Finally, the future development of acoustic landscape research in China has prospected.
