Abstract:In Northwest China, where precipitation is scarce and climate is arid, water is the main factor determining vegetation type and distribution. In the process of urban construction, different site conditions and human intervention optimize the hydrological conditions, resulting in a variety of habitats different from the natural environment, which creates the possibility for the diversified construction of plant landscapes in the urban green infrastructure. Based on “habitat” + “plant community”design mode, according to the site habitat type, this paper selects artificial plant community and landscape type, explores the appropriate construction and maintenance management methods, which provides reference for the construction of sustainable plant landscape of urban green infrastructure.
