Abstract:Most urban embankments are municipal gray infrastructures with the single goal of flood prevention, which often only focus on their functionality and engineering, while ignoring their important ecological and landscape values, resulting in a series of problems such as ecological damage, hardening of the landscape and lack of vitality. From the perspective of infrastructure landscaping, this paper proposes a design strategy for the optimization of embankment space from the three dimensions of ecology, landscape and space in response to the current problems, and applies this strategy to environment improvement of Wujin embankment.
