As an urban habitat and ecological corridor, the waterfront space implements the concept of sustainability when updating landscape design, which is an essential guarantee for improving civic, environmental bene ts, achieving sustainable urban development, and forming a green shared space. This article reviews the development history of the old waterfront industrial parks in general. Meanwhile, it discusses the landscape renewal design strategy based on sustainable concepts combined with the analysis of Shanghai Yangpu Riverside Park, aiming to correspond to the design and its signi cance for urban development. With a view to domestic, the landscape update of another waterfront old industrial area provides methods for reference.
