Rural settlements are an essential system for national cultural heritage, homesickness awareness, and uniquegeography protection. However, under the effect of tourism development, it is easy to lose their place spirit, so they have signi cant research and protection values. Taking Yubeng village in Yunnan province as an example, the articleuses the research methods of territory cultural landscape theory to analyze the cultural landscape system of Tibetansettlements from the three pairs of relations, such as "mankind-nature" "mankind-religion" and "mankindmankind." Based on Yubeng village, the dilemma of ecological destruction and out-of-control architectural style after the development of tourismin the village, this article put forward the countermeasures of "protecting the ecological base, darning the landscapesystem; adhering to the spirit of the place, maintaining the traditional style and features; strengthening live protectionand exerting villagers' autonomy". To enrich the research theory of rural settlement cultural landscape and protect the harmonious and interactive settlement landscape pattern of "mankind-nature-religion".
