Based on the case study of Shanghai Gulf National Forest Park, this paper discusses the application of Chinese  r in plant landscaping. Through the combination of fast-growing and slow-growing tree species, evergreen and color leaf tree species, as well as the combination of different  r species, and the creation of signi cant landscapes such as Bainiao Lake water body, garden road, etc., to create a crucial ornamental node of the park, increase the interest of the park, and create a diversi ed and multi-seasonal landscape.
