As an essential component of high-density urban area greening construction, three-dimensional greening plays a decisive role in reducing heat island effect, improving environmental quality, and increasing the greening feeling of citizens. This paper, focusing on industry management and work practice, brie y introduces the development process and current situation of vertical greening in Shanghai in recent years. And it mainly summarizes the effectiveness of measures in terms of organization and leadership, planning and layout, policy support, project construction, publicity, and launch to provide some references for improving the ef ciency of the creation of three-dimensional green grid space in Shanghai.
