This paper analyses and discusses the purpose and function of landscape gardening from a visitor's sight, taking Hangzhou Jiangyangfan ecological park as the example, which is one of the representatives' culture site of West Lake with its feature of metaphorical expression and ecological design. This paper attempts to use poetic exposition to sort out the relationship between the modern garden and lyrical quality. It uses philosophical speculation to demonstrate and analyze the relationship between garden embedded poetry. It also attempts to introduce six artistic conception styles, such as "nature" in Twenty-four Poetic Styles to interpret the "core" of Jiangyangfan ecological park. Meanwhile, it obtains the code to enter the "poetic realm" of the modern park in the way of reading classical poetry to provides a possibility for designers and tourists, that is, the way and method of poetic interpretation of contemporary garden.
