Based on the study of the parallel development of Chinese landscape painting and traditional gardening, this paper attempts to discuss the in uence of landscape painting theory on the space construction of Chinese classical gardens from the perspective of "painting tour-garden tour". Combined with the gardening methods of Chinese classic garden examples, this paper analyzes the expression of painting theory in gardening practice. From two aspects of "physical Tour" and "ideological Tour", this article provides a reference for designers to understand the "tour of gardens" path of the traditional garden from the perspective of "tour of paintings" of landscape painting.
