As an essential part of the urban environment, the campus of the university has become an important goal of campus planning and construction. With the construction of ecological process, which has advocated in recent years, some college campuses with speci c historical accumulation also need to conform to the development of the times and carry out appropriate transformation and corresponding upgrading of the original environment. Taking the reformation of the surrounding environment of the library of Yangzhou city vocational university as an example, this paper explores the planning of the contemporary university campus environment with the concept of "ecological integration and humanities". And through the transformation of a series of external spaces such as library square, activity center square, campus riverfront, and atrium of the teaching building to create a campus ecological environment with deep humanistic ally.
