Since the Eastern Jin dynasty, the natural philosophy school characterized by the principle of "advocating nature,principling of the law of nature". It has been absorbed and integrated in Japan for nearly two thousand years, and the innovation has become a garden style with unique national character and cultural characteristics. For today's hotel landscape, it still adheres to the traditional culture, naturalistic garden school of the worship of natural beauty to the extreme. Taking Donglin Garden in Jinseki-kogen hotel as an example, this paper expounds the in uence of natural philosophy on Japanese gardens from the aspects of site selection of the garden, extroversion of the main body of the hotel, the pattern of "one pool and three mountains", the architectural concept and the plant landscape.
