Rural landscape protection is an important basis for rural revitalization. The rural revitalization strategy puts forward higher requirements for rural landscape construction and provides opportunities to reshape rural landscape at the same time. In the rapid urbanization construction, current ideas and methods for rural landscape construction are not enough to meet the people’s demands. The protection of traditional rural landscape, ecological and cultural landscape is challenged. Taking Gushi Village as an example, this paper proposes a landscape planning strategy that protects the rural cultural and ecological landscape resources as the bottom line promotes development through conservation according to local conditions, in order to achieve the goal of rural revitalization and sustainable development.
