Urban renewal has become one of the effective ways to solve the problem of urban land shortage. Taking the renovation project of Bagualing Old Industrial Zone in Shenzhen as an example, this paper  rstly introduces the process and problems of urban renewal and the problems it gaces. Then, this paper expounds the demands of the renovation of old industrial zones, and introduces the basic background information and some problems faced by the renovation area. Finally, this study proposes corresponding solutions and design solutions for solving the problems in the Bagualing area. The purpose of this paper is to explore the renovation mode of old industrial zone and to provide a reference for other renovation projects of old industrial zone.
