Based on the characteristics and principles of landscape elements, from the perspective of diversity, regionality and ecology, this study investigated the urban green space in Suzhou from the aspects of the number, species and presentation of animal elements. This paper analyzes the natural educational function of landscape elements and animal elements in urban park green space. Also, this paper evaluates the existence form of local animals. This provides a theoretical and practical reference for better functioning of natural education role of urban green space.
